• Increlex may cause low blood sugar, including severe hypoglycemia that can lead to seizures. Administer doses shortly before or after meals or snacks, and closely monitor blood glucose levels, especially during treatment initiation and in young children.

• Benign and malignant tumors have been reported in some children receiving Increlex. Treatment should be discontinued if a tumor develops or is suspected, and the patient should receive immediate evaluation and ongoing care from specialists.
• Increlex contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which may cause serious or fatal adverse reactions in infants. Therefore, it is not recommended for use in very young children because of this significant safety concern.
