Vyvgart (efgartigimod alfa-fcab) is a neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) blocker approved by the FDA for the treatment of adult patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) who are anti-acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody positive.
Vyvgart binds to the neonatal Fc receptor, reducing the recycling of IgG antibodies, including the disease-causing autoantibodies responsible for myasthenia gravis. This lowers overall IgG levels, including the pathogenic anti-AChR antibodies that interfere with nerve-to-muscle signal transmission.
Vyvgart is intended for adults with generalized myasthenia gravis who test positive for anti-AChR antibodies, a subset of MG patients with a well-defined autoimmune mechanism targeted by this therapy.
Vyvgart is administered as an intravenous infusion of 10 mg/kg (up to 1,200 mg for patients weighing 120 kg or more) once weekly for four weeks per treatment cycle, with subsequent cycles based on clinical evaluation and a minimum 28-day interval between cycles.
Vyvgart does not carry a formal FDA boxed warning. However, patients and prescribers should be aware of the following important safety information.
Vyvgart may increase susceptibility to infection. Vyvgart should be delayed in patients with an active infection until it has resolved, and patients should be monitored for signs of infection during treatment.
Hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis and hypotension leading to syncope, have been reported in the postmarketing setting.
Infusion-related reactions have been reported. Patients should be monitored during infusion, with the rate adjusted or infusion interrupted based on severity.

Vyvgart is manufactured and marketed by argenx. It is sourced through authorized distribution channels for patients seeking named-patient import into India.
Patients typically need a valid prescription from a treating neurologist confirming generalized myasthenia gravis diagnosis and anti-AChR antibody positivity. NPP's regulatory team assists in preparing and verifying the documentation needed for a compliant import.
As an FDA-approved therapy for AChR antibody-positive generalized myasthenia gravis, Vyvgart is sourced through authorized channels and imported under GDP-compliant, cold-chain logistics to preserve product quality throughout transit.
NPP sources Vyvgart directly from authorized pharmaceutical distributors to ensure product authenticity and full traceability. Every shipment is handled under Good Distribution Practice (GDP) conditions from origin to the patient's doorstep.
Vyvgart requires refrigerated storage at 2°C to 8°C, protected from light. NPP maintains a continuous, monitored cold chain throughout transit.
Once documentation and regulatory approvals are in place, delivery timelines are communicated transparently at the time of quotation, accounting for import clearance and last-mile cold-chain logistics to the patient's city.
