Ojemda (tovorafenib) is a kinase inhibitor approved by the FDA under accelerated approval for the treatment of patients 6 months of age and older with relapsed or refractory pediatric low-grade glioma (pLGG) harboring a BRAF fusion or rearrangement, or a BRAF V600 mutation.
Ojemda is a type II RAF kinase inhibitor that blocks abnormal BRAF-driven signaling in tumor cells, helping to slow or shrink glioma growth in patients whose tumors carry these specific genetic alterations.
Ojemda is intended for pediatric and young patients with low-grade glioma that has relapsed or is refractory to prior treatment, and whose tumor has been confirmed to carry a BRAF fusion, rearrangement, or V600 mutation through appropriate testing.
Ojemda dosing is based on body surface area, at 380 mg/m² (maximum 600 mg per week) taken orally once weekly, available as tablets or an oral suspension for patients unable to swallow tablets.
Ojemda does not carry a formal FDA boxed warning. However, patients and caregivers should be aware of the following important safety information.
Cases of hemorrhage have been reported. Patients should be monitored for signs of bleeding during treatment.
Ojemda can cause skin reactions and increased sensitivity to sunlight. Patients should use sun protection and avoid prolonged sun exposure during treatment.
Liver enzyme elevations have been observed. Liver function should be monitored periodically during treatment.
Because Ojemda is used in pediatric patients, growth should be monitored routinely, as effects on growth and bone development are possible with prolonged treatment.
Ojemda may cause fetal harm. Effective non-hormonal contraception is recommended during treatment for patients of reproductive potential.

Ojemda is manufactured and marketed by Day One Biopharmaceuticals. It is sourced through authorized distribution channels for patients seeking named-patient import into India.
Patients typically need a valid prescription from a treating pediatric oncologist confirming diagnosis, BRAF alteration testing results, and prior treatment history. NPP's regulatory team assists in preparing and verifying the documentation needed for a compliant import.
As an FDA-approved therapy for relapsed or refractory pediatric low-grade glioma, Ojemda is sourced through authorized channels and imported under GDP-compliant logistics to preserve product quality throughout transit.
NPP sources Ojemda directly from authorized pharmaceutical distributors to ensure product authenticity and full traceability. Every shipment is handled under Good Distribution Practice (GDP) conditions from origin to the patient's doorstep.
Ojemda should be stored at 20°C to 25°C, with excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C, and this condition is maintained throughout transit.
Once documentation and regulatory approvals are in place, delivery timelines are communicated transparently at the time of quotation, accounting for import clearance and last-mile logistics to the patient's city.
